Slack

Receive test failure notifications directly in a Slack channel. When production monitoring or webhook-triggered tests fail, TesterArmy posts a summary with links to each failed run.

Setup

  1. Go to Project → Settings → Integrations → Slack and click Add to Slack.
  2. Authorize the TesterArmy app for your Slack workspace.
  3. Pick an existing channel or type a name to create a new one.
  4. Ensure that the integration shows a channel name.

The bot joins the selected channel automatically and posts a welcome message.

When Slack is connected, email notifications are disabled by default - all failure alerts go to Slack instead.

Changing the channel

  1. Go to Project → Settings → Integrations → Slack.
  2. Click Disconnect.
  3. Click Add to Slack again and pick a different channel.
